Do not allow the power cable to come into contact

with hot appliance parts. NEVER use the appliance
near naked flames, a hotplate or a heated oven.
Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it

in a humid or wet environment. Ensure that the power
cable never becomes wet or moist during operation.
Check the appliance for any visible external damage

before use. Do not use an appliance that has been
damaged or dropped.
The power cable must be checked for signs of dam-

age at regular intervals. If the power cable is dam-
aged, the appliance may no longer be used.
The appliance must be connected to a mains socket

with a protective earth.
