Intended use

Accessory set 1 687 010 193 / 1 687 016 193 contains
clamping accessories and connection accessories for
the testing of VDO common rail pumps (referred to as
VDO-CP in the following) on the common rail test bench
EPS 708 or the injection pump test bench EPS 815.
3.2

User group

Technical personnel with operating knowledge of
the EPS 708 or EPS 815 with tester set CRS 845H
and knowledge of the operating principle of and test
procedures for VDO common rail high-pressure pumps.
3.3 Prerequisites

Common rail test bench EPS 708 with extension set
CP4 (1 687 010 390) or injection pump test bench
EPS 815 with tester set CRS 845H (1 687 002 845)
and extension set CP4 (1 687 010 490)

TestData (database for VDO components)

from your VDO regional subsidiary (RSO) or your
dealer.

Training in how to test and repair VDO common rail

Scope of delivery

To test VDO-CP Type DW10B and Type DW10B TED,
the connection piece VDO X39-800-300-031Z is
needed as well. The connection piece VDO X39-800-
300-031Z is not included in the scope of delivery
for the 1 687 010 193 / 1 687 016 193 and must be
ordered separately from your VDO dealer.
