ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. This IC fixture is intended for use in recessed
cavities or suspended ceilings (with or without
insulation). The recessed portion of the fixture,
other than at points of support,
must be at least 1/2 in. from combustible material.
Choose the location for the fixture,
taking into consideration the location
of the joists, the 7-1/2 in. depth clearance, electrical
supply , and the 1/2 in. clearance from the joists or
any other combustible material.
2. Choose an appropiate location for the lighting unit.
Cut a 4-7/16 in. hole in the ceiling.
A template (D) is provided to assist with cutting the hole.
3. When running the supply wires, allow an additional
18 in. of wire at each installation in order
to make the electrical connections on the room side
of the ceiling hole. Make the electrical connections to
the housing (A). See ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
on page 3 in the SAFETY INFORMATION.
Remove the screws (E) holding the junction box (C) to
the housing (A) and remove the housing (A). Using
the appropriate supply wire, wire connectors (AA) and
wire fittings, attach the wiring assembly to the appropriate
knockout on the the junction box (C).

4. Press the top portion of the remodel clip (B) against
the side of the housing (A).
