Conditions of use
S
Use the emergency buffer in its original state without undertaking any modifi-
cations.
Definition
Cushioning elements = emergency buffer or shock absorber
Definition
Rated stroke = selected stroke of the axis without stroke reserve
Work stroke = the actual usable stroke of the axis
Please note
If emergency buffers are fitted at a later
stage, the stroke reserve of the axes will
be reduced.
Under certain circumstances, the work
stroke of the axes may be reduced.
S
If this is the case, make sure that the work
stroke which remains is sufficient for your
application.
Axis variants with series-fitted emergency
buffers have type plates on which the
rated stroke specification takes this into
account (rated stroke = work stroke).
