The appliance is switched off using the On/Standby key.
In Standby mode a flashing ―0‖ appears in the display.
► Note that the appliance's fan continues to operate for a while
after the appliance has been switched off in order to dissipate
the heat that has built up in the appliance.
► If the appliance is unused for an extended period of time
unplug, the appliance from the socket in order disconnect it
from the mains power supply.
The appliance is switched on using the On/Standby key.
Follow the instructions below in order to operate the appliance
safely:
Plug the mains plug into the power socket.
Within 3 seconds after connecting the appliance to the power
supply an acoustic signal sounds, the appliance is in Standby
mode, and a flashing ―0‖ appears in the digital display.
Place a suitable cooking pot with its contents to be
cooked on the centre on the hob (Ø 120 mm - 260 mm).
As soon as the induction cooker is switched on the appliance
determines within 60 seconds whether suitable pots and pans
are being used. If a suitable cooking vessel has not been
recognised within 60 seconds the appliance returns to Standby
mode.
If a suitable cooking vessel has been recognised, the appliance
heats up to the set temperature.
In the event of unsuitable cookware an acoustic signal sounds
and the error code E1 appears in the digital display.
Please note
During the cooking process the temperature, power level and
timer can be readjusted as you wish.
► If the pot is removed from the hob, then the power output is
reduced immediately, E1 appears in the display and the
acoustic signal sounds repeatedly.
