14. DISPOSAL INFORMATION

14.1 Internal battery

• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
• The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains before removing the battery.
• The battery must be disposed of safely.
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to
inform potential purchasers of products containing batteries (as defined within these regulations),
that they are registered with Valpak's registered compliance scheme.
