Air Conditioner and Heat Pump
TAS-2250/TAS-3000
TAS-4500/TAS-6000
The materials used in the
packaging of this product are included
in the collection, classification and
recycling of waste products system. If
you wish to dispose of this packaging,
public recycling containers, appropriate
for each material type, may be used.
Tips and safety warnings
-Please read these instructions carefully
before using the appliance and keep
them for future reference.
-Unpack the appliance and check it is
in perfect condition and working order,
as any factory fault or damage caused
by transport is covered by the TAURUS
guarantee.
-This product must only be used for
the purposes described in this manual.
-Do not use this product for purposes
other than those described by the
manufacturer.
-The manufacturer will not be held
responsible for any harm caused due
to the improper use of this product.
-Use the original accessories and spare
parts.
-The remote control buttons on the
handset only function when the product
is switched on.
-Point the remote control handset
towards the signal receptor on the
indoor unit. When the unit receives the
signal, a 'beep' will be heard.
Read the following instructions before
installation
-Read this installation manual carefully
before installing the apparatus.
-Try to install the apparatus following
the instructions of this manual carefully.
-The installation of this apparatus must
be carried out by qualified
professionals, following the instructions
of this manual.
-Place the apparatus on a solid base.
-Before connecting the apparatus to
the electricity supply, check carefully
that the wires and connection pipes are
connected correctly and safely.
-The maximum length of the
connection pipes between the indoor
and outdoor units is four metres. Any
other distance may affect the
functioning of the apparatus.
-After installation, the apparatus must
be used following the indications found
in the instruction manual.
-Read this instruction leaflet carefully
before using the apparatus and keep
for future consultation.
Choosing an area for installation
Indoor unit
-Install the apparatus on a stable wall
to avoid the effects of vibrations.
-Avoid placing the apparatus in a place
where the air inlet and outlet may be
obstructed. Maintain the upper part of
the indoor unit at a distance greater
than 100mm from the ceiling.
-Install the apparatus in a place from
which the air will reach the whole
room.
-The maximum distance between the
indoor and outdoor units should be
approximately 4m, this also being the
maximum difference in the height at
which the units are situated.
-Install the apparatus away from direct
sunlight.
-Install the apparatus in a place where
