Using Dolby Surround
Simulating a center
speaker
Ideally, a center speaker should be placed
directly in front of the listening position in order
to reproduce sound with a sense of presence.
However, in cases where space prohibits the
addition of a center channel speaker, use this
function to simulate the center channel. This is
accomplished by dividing the sound of the
center speaker equally onto the left and right
channels. This creates an acoustic image of a
center speaker, making it seem as if it is directly
in front of the listening position.
Press "A.PROC" and select the "DOLBY
SURROUND" mode.
Use the " " or " " key to select the "BI-PHTM"
(Bi-Phantom) mode.
In this mode set the acoustic image of the
center speaker.
Press ENT.
