4-2. Operating Controller Installation
CAUTION
• Do not twist the operating controller wires together
with the power supply wires. Doing so can result in
malfunction.
• If noise is induced in the unit power supply, take ap-
propriate measures, for example installing a noise fil-
ter.
Install the operation controller at the indoor unit intake port
section.
(1)
Fasten the operation controller to the indoor unit intake
port section (electrical component box opposite side)
with the 2 accessory screws (4 x 10).
(2)
Connect the operation controller 4P connector (Blue)
to the WL connector (Blue, CN42) on the indoor P.C.B.
(3)
Install the ceiling panel.
(4)
Connect the indicator section and the operating
controller by 6P connector (white).
(5)
Form the wires with vinyl clampers and fasten.
(6)
Connect the 9P ceiling panel wiring connector to the
9P body connector in the electrical component box.
For cooling only models:
(7)
Disconnect CN8 connector from indoor P.C.B.
(Fig. 4-4).
NOTE
Be sure to remove CN8 connector. If otherwise, the flap
cannot be stopped at a certain position even when the
FLAP button on the remote controller is pressed.
4-3. Electrical Wiring
Connection method
(1)
Connect W1 to the indoor PCB WL connector.
(2)
Connect W3 from the indicator section with W2 from
the operating controller using the relay connector.
4-4. Room Temperature Sensor Setting
The room temperature sensors are built into the indoor unit
and the wireless remote controller. Either of these room
temperature sensors can operate.
Heat pump models
The system is shipped from the factory set to the indoor unit
sensor. To switch to the remote controller sensor, press the
sensor switching button (* mark) on the rear of the remote
controller and check that A/C SENSOR on the LCD display
panel goes out.
Cooling only models
To switch to the remote controller sensor, press the A/C
SENSOR button on the remote controller and check that
the
mark on the LCD display panel goes out. (Fig. 4-6).
NOTE
If the sensor switch is set to the remote controller side, but
no room temperature data is sent to the main unit for 10
minutes, the sensor is automatically switched to the indoor
unit side. As much as possible, install the remote controller
facing the unit.
