5 Putting into operation
NOTE
• The system may only be put into operation by trained personnel.
• Make sure that the cleaning process is not impaired by the collecting tray and the bottle holder.
This chapter gives you all the information that must be taken into account when putting the device into
operation.

1 Move the torch with the gas nozzle vertically to the tool axis over the BRS-LC (1).
2 Approach the clamping position (2). The cylindrical part of the gas nozzle must have even contact with
the clamping prism. This prevents the torch from being twisted during clamping.
3 Loosen the motor clamping (5).
4 Move the motor and the guide block to the lowest position (6).
5 Put the corresponding distance sleeve (7) onto the milling cutter.
6 Keep the guide block in the lowest position and move the motor with plugged-in distance sleeve up
against the gas nozzle (8).
7 As the BRS-LC is set up in depressurised state, first move the gas nozzle out the clamping position (2)
before removing the distance sleeve.
