3. Cleaning Overview

It's important for you to do the following before using Symphony
1. For models that include a rechargeable battery, fully charge the battery 12 hours
uninterrupted.
2. Separate all parts.
3. Clean - see instructions:
• Wash – section 4, pages 8-9
• Sanitize – section 5, pages 10-11
Note
*Sterile kits are ready to use and do not require washing prior to fi rst use.
Breastshield assemblies come
assembled. Separate all parts that will
come into contact with the breast and
breastmilk before cleaning.
Parts to clean:
• Breastshields
• Breastmilk bottle/collection containers
• Lids
• Connectors
• Membranes
• Valves
Kit components may vary from pictures in this instruction manual.
