Functional description
Harmful fumes are produced during the welding process. A permanent filter located in the filter housing
removes the welding fume particles from the absorbed air. The cleaned air is led back into the work area
via the exhaust casing (12).
If the minimum volume flow is not reached, the manometer (10) indicates a high value and an acoustic
signal sounds. The filter must be then cleaned with compressed air. During the dedusting procedure, the
exhaust fume deposits are removed from the filter elements and the filter is refreshed.
The separated dust is collected in the dust collecting drawer (8).
NOTICE
• The dust collecting drawer (8) must be emptied before and after each dedusting of the filter.
• After each use, the dust collecting drawer must be checked.
• In case of a filling level of 2/3 or more, the dust collecting drawer must be emptied according to the
The FES-200 W3 is equipped with an automatic Start-Stop system. Use the start-stop pliers to switch on the
fume extraction system automatically by fixing it to the cable assembly of the welding device.
The rocker switch (11) is used to switch the fume extraction system on and off.
