6.1.2 Mounting the driving rolls
NOTICE
• Red drive rolls = V-groove / blue drive rolls = U-groove
1 Unscrew and remove the knurled screws (3).
2 Place the drive rolls (4) on guide pins on the drive gears (2) and secure with knurled screws (3).
6.2 Installing the MF1 rear
Due to the different installation situations in systems, the system constructor/operator is responsible for
ensuring that the MF1 rear is duly installed. Mount the MF1 rear on a mounting plate of a suitable size.

Electric shock

Hazardous current during hot wire applications.
• All MF drives must be installed so as to be electrically insulated from other peripheral devices.
• Use insulating sleeves to fasten the screws on the robot.
NOTICE
• Ensure clear access to the control elements and connections.
• Select a location that allows a short and rectilinear wire feed.
• The dimensions of the following mounting holes are identical for the MF1 and MF1 rear.
