• Draw the group master fingerprint
over the sensor for a third time. The
green LED flashes for appr. 3 secs,
and then stays alight.
The first group master fingerprint
has now been scanned in and is
valid. If you wish to scan in addi-
tional group master fingerprints
(up to max. 5), repeat the above
described procedure, or if you wish
to scan in a user fingerprint, pro-
ceed to the section "Scan in user
fingerprint".
If a fingerprint has been drawn over
the sensor and not recognized, the
red LED flashes for 3 secs. and then
stays alight. Repeat the scan-in
process.
Administrator mode
Scan in the administrator fin-
gerprint
Conditions:
• The device is initialized
• Administrator mode is set (9).
The red LED lights (as-delivered
status)
The fingerprint you scan in first
in the administrator mode is the
administrator fingerprint.
• Draw the administrator fingerprint
over the sensor. The green LED
flashes for appr. 3 secs, then the red
LED lights up.
• Draw the administrator fingerprint
over the sensor again.The green LED
flashes for appr. 3 secs., after which
the red LED lights up.
• Draw the administrator fingerprint
a third time over the sensor. The
green LED flashes for appr. 3 secs,
after which the green LED lights
up continuously. The administrator
fingerprint has now been scanned in
and is valid. Master fingerprints can
now be scanned in.
If a finger has been drawn over
the sensor and not recognized,
the red LED flashes for 3 seconds,
after which the green LED lights up.
Repeat the scanning-in process.
Scan in master fingerprint
• Draw the administrator fingerprint
over the sensor once.
The green LED flashes for appr. 3
secs, then the red LED lights up.
(Scan­in status for master finger-
prints)
• Draw the master fingerprint over
the sensor. The green LED flashes
for appr. 3 secs, then the red LED
lights up.
• Draw the master fingerprint over
the sensor again.The green LED
flashes for appr. 3 secs., after which
the red LED lights up.
• Draw the master fingerprint a third
time over the sensor. The green LED
flashes for appr. 3 secs, after which
the green LED lights up continuously.
The master fingerprint has now been
scanned in and is valid.
If you wish to scan in additional
master fingerprints (max. 5), repeat
the above described procedure.
Or if you now wish to go on to scan
in user fingerprints, jump to the sec-
tion "Scan in user fingerprint".
If a finger has been drawn over
the sensor and not recognized,
the red LED flashes for 3 seconds,
after which the green LED lights up.
Repeat the scanning-in process.
Check:
• Draw the user fingerprint once
over the sensor. The green LED
flashes and the relay picks up.

Delete mode

Restoring the as-delivered status
Conditions:
Green LED is alight (operating mode)
• Open the flap at the back of the
module (see Fig. 8 "Setting the
operating mode").
• Turn the rotary switch to the
0, 2-4 or 6-8 position (delete mode).
All scanned­in fingerprints are
deleted.
Delete user fingerprints
Individual master, group master
and user fingerprints can not be
deleted!
User fingerprints can be deleted
using the adminstrator, group
administrator or master, group
master fingerprints. The group
master fingerprint can only be used
to delete the user fingerprints of its
respective group.
The group administrator finerprint,
in contrast, is entitled to delete
all the user fingerprints of all the
groups.
The master fingerprints and admin-
istrator fingerprint are retained.
Between the individual scan-in proc-
esses of the administrator finger /
master finger, you have a maximum
5 second window before the delete
process is interrupted. If the LED
lights up green again, it is possible
to begin the delete process again
from the beginning if required.
Scanning in the wrong fingerprint
will also cause the delete process to
be interrupted.
• Draw the master fingerprint /
administrator fingerprint once over
the sensor. The green LED flashes
until the red LED lights up continu-
ously (scan-in mode).
• Draw the master fingerprint /
administrator fingerprint over the
sensor a second time. The green LED
flashes until it then stays alight.
• Draw the master fingerprint /
administrator fingerprint over the
sensor a third time. Both LEDs flash
simultaneously.
• While the two LEDs are still alight,
draw the master fingerprint / admin-
istrator fingerprint over the sensor a
fourth time.
The green LED flashes for appr. 3
seconds, then stays alight.
