H. TURNING THE SAFETY SEAT INTO A BOOSTER SEAT
WITH BACKREST
VERY IMPORTANT: When using the DRIVE safety seat as a booster
seat with backrest, the child should be held securely in place
with the three-point seat belt of the vehicle, therefore, the in-
tegral straps will no longer be used and should be concealed. If
the integral straps are not concealed, it will not be possible to
adjust the height of the headrest.
Concealing the integral straps:
• Check that the straps (4) are in the highest position.
• Take the upholstery off the seat from the front part until the
buckle compartment is uncovered. Open the lid by pulling it
upwards. Slot the buckle through the upholstery, place it in the
4
compartment and close it.
.b
• The shoulder straps should be slid behind the flap of the head-
rest. To avoid misuse of the safety seat, it will not be possible to
raise the headrest if this step is not completed first. First take
the pad off the shoulder straps.

• Pass both straps behind the flap of the headrest.
• The upper part of the buckle can be concealed inside the
spaces in the inner sides of the seat.
I. INSTALLATION FOR CHILDREN FROM 100 TO 150 CM IN
HEIGHT, JUST WITH THE VEHICLE SEAT BELT
Installing the seat using the vehicle seat belt (without using the
ISOFIX anchors or the Top Tether strap)
If you decide to install the DRIVE booster seat with backrest
without using the ISOFIX anchors, simply place the seat on the
vehicle seat bearing in mind the following point:
NOTE: When the booster seat is not in use, do not forget to
!
secure it with the 3-point vehicle seat belt. In the event of
sharp braking or an accident, an unsecured seat can get
flung about and cause injury to other occupants in the ve-
hicle.
