e. Connect L1, L2, and L3 from the input
power block to the circuit breaker,
using the 18GA gray wire, included
in the kit.
f. Connect L1, L2, and L3 from the circuit
breaker to pump contactor terminals
T1, T2, and T3.
7. Routing pump motor cables through
control module partition:
Note:
Pump motor is prewired for 200–240V
input. Motor must be rewired for 380V or
greater input. Refer to pump motor junction
box for rewiring. High voltage (380–480V)
should be wired for Y configuration. Low
voltage (200–240V) should be wired for
∆ configuration.
a. Remove the 1-1/8-inch plug from the
control module partition. Install the
PG-21 watertight strain relief, included
in the kit, in the 1-1/8-inch hole.
b. Remove the 7/8
control module partition. Install the
PG-13.5 watertight strain relief,
included in the kit, in the 7/8-inch hole.
If no plugged hole is available, the
Note:
installer must punch an appropriately sized
hole on the partition (back side) of the
control module.
c. Route the two pump motor cables
(2- and 4-conductor), included in the
kit, along the washer-extractor frame to
the control module partition.

Ensure cables are routed safely and

away from potential hazards. Use wire ties,
included in the kit, to secure cabling. Provide
some slack for repositioning of the canister/
filter/pump assembly after electrical
connections are made.
d. Route the 14GA 4-conductor cable
through the PG-21 1-1/8-inch strain
relief and the 2-conductor cable
through the PG-13.5 7/8-inch strain
relief.
e. In order to obtain clockwise rotation
of the pump motor, connect the
4-conductor cable wires to the pump
contactor terminals as follows: wire
No. 1 to terminal L1, wire No. 2 to L2,
and wire No. 3 to L3. Wire No. 4
(green-yellow) must be connected to
chassis ground.
f. Splice the 2-conductor cable wires to
the 18GA gray wires connected to the
fuseboard output terminal A2 and the
pump contactor coil terminal A2 (see
Steps 6b and 6c).
Wire colors on 2-conductor cable are
Note:
not important to the installation procedure in
regard to ACN and ACH. Both of the
2-conductor cable wires are wired to ACH.
8. Verifying electrical connections:
a. Secure any loose or dangling wires,
using the wire ties.
b. Verify that all connections are secure
and routed properly.
9. Reassembling washer-extractor panels:
a. Reassemble side panel.
