Causes
No mains voltage
Power supply problem.
Clamps in short circuit or polarity
reversal.
The battery that you are trying to
charge is faulty.
Voltage error (12 -24V)
Following intensive use, your
device has entered thermal
protection mode.
Blown fuse
Bad clamp connections.
Wrong charge settings
Following intensive use, your
device has entered thermal
protection mode.
The battery is deeply discharged.
Voltage error (12 -24V)
Your battery has elements in short
circuit.
Polarity reversal
Starting the vehicle
Wrong charge settings
Current overconsumption on the
battery
The machine is charging a 12V
battery in 24V mode
Remedies
Check that the power cord is plugged to a
230V 50/60Hz socket. Check the power supply
network.
Check your mains power supply.
Check that the fuses have not melted and that
the circuit breaker is not tripped
Check the terminals' voltage with a voltmeter.
If this voltage jumps instantaneously to 2.5V
per element, the battery may be sulfated or
damaged.
Chck that the switch is on the right setting (12
or 24V)
Wait 1/4h so the device can cool down.
Replace the fuse by a new one.
Clean the terminals and the clamps. Check the
state of the cables and clamps.
Check that the selected voltage matches the
battery voltage.
Wait 1/4h so the device can cool down.
Keep charging using the minimum setting .
Chck that the switch is on the right setting (12
or 24V)
Damaged battery Replace the battery.
Connect the + clamp to the battery's (+) and
the - clamp to the battery's (-).
Do not perform any starts when the charger is
connected.
Check that the selected voltage matches the
battery voltage.
Do not draw any of the battery's current during
the charge
Set the switch to 12V.
