h Thinning the material
Thinning the spray material results in faster spraying, a better finish and less material usage.
• Thin chalk, milk, latex and other thicker decorative paints with water
• Oil-based materials need to be thinned with mineral spirits.
• Transparent/semi-transparent stains, clear topcoats and lacquers do not require thinning.
Do not thin with materials that have a flashpoint below 100°F (38°C).
The material flashpoint should be shown on the material container.

1. Unscrew the container from the spray
