Specific safety instructions
Val95
The Val95 is designed so as not to pose any difficulty for operators if the instructions
contained in this manual are scrupulously followed.
Ensure that the machine is connected correctly and earthen. If in doubt, check the
socket before connecting. Check that the power cable is in a satisfactory condition.
If the cable is too short use a 3-core extension cable in a satisfactory condition. Use
of an extension cable which is too long may lead to a substantial loss of current and
cause the motor to overheat.
To maintain a satisfactory level of hygiene clean the machine after each use.
Always use reinforced protective gloves. Wear only leather gloves, and not fabric
gloves, when you handle the cable. A fabric glove may become trapped in the spirals
of the cable during rotation.
Wear rubber boots and isolating gloves when the working zone is damp. The
machine must not be operated if the user is standing in water.
Wear safety goggles when you use the machine.
Neutralise or remove any blockage removal chemicals in the pipes before starting.
Contact with these chemicals may injure the operator.
