Read and retain this instructions booklet.
To reduce the risk of an electric shock, injury and fire while using electrical tools, observe
the following fundamental safety measures.
General safety instructions
Choice of tool
Use the appropriate tool. Do not use tools or adaptable devices of too low a power
rating for undertaking heavy work.
Do not use tools for purposes other than the work for which they have been designed.
Maintenance and storage
Store your tools in a safe location. Unused tools must be stored in a dry and closed
location, out of reach of children.
Maintain your tools carefully. Keep your tools clean to work optimally and more
safely. Follow the maintenance instructions and the indications for changing
accessories. Keep handles dry and free from oil and grease.
Check whether your tool is damaged. Before using your tool, always check carefully
that the parts are operating perfectly. Check that the moving parts are operating
correctly, whether they are not gripping properly, or if other parts are damaged. All
the components must be fitted correctly and satisfy the conditions to guarantee
perfect operation of the tool.
N.B.! Ensure that the tool and its accessories are used in accordance with the safety
instructions. Also take account of the tool's possibilities by considering the working
conditions and the task to be performed. Using the tool for tasks other than those
intended may be dangerous.
Have your tool repaired by a qualified technician. This tool is in compliance with the
safety rules in force. All repairs must be undertaken by qualified professionals using
original spare parts, failing which use of the tool may be dangerous for the user and
void the guarantee.
Safety instructions for the user
Keep children away. Do not allow other people to touch the tool; keep them away
from your working area.
Wear appropriate working clothes. Do not wear loose clothes or jewels; they could
get caught by moving parts. When working in the open air it is recommended that
protective gloves and shoes with anti-skid soles are worn. Wear a hair net if you have
long hair.
Wear protective goggles and protective gloves. Also use a mask if the work
performed produces dust.
Avoid adopting a position which is tiring for the body; ensure that your support on the
ground is firm and keep in balance at all times.
Always be attentive. Observe your work, act using common sense and do not use the
tool when you are tired.
