3.6.3 Setting up measurement ranges
Selection of measurement range is done using DIP
switches 1 and 2. These are positioned on the right
side of the recorder chassis. Each channel can be set
up individually.
3.6.4 Settings DIP switches 1 and 2
DIP switches 3 and 4 have no effect on setting up the
measurement range.
0 .. 1 V, 0 .. 20 mA via internal shunt
(the jumper must be connected,
see connection diagram)
0,2 .. 1 V, 4 .. 20 mA via internal shunt
(the jumper must be connected,
see connection diagram)
2 .. 10 V
0 .. 10 V
3.6.5 Pre-setting response time/damping
Interference on the signal can decrease the quality of
the recording. In order to avoid this sort of error the
recorder has adjustable input damping. This damping is
infinitely variable from 1.5 to 65 seconds and can be
activated individually for each channel.
Pull the chassis out of the casing (see 3.6.1)
Set course adjustment using DIP switches 3 and 4
(strong - weak interference)
No interference, damping inactive
Weak interference, damping active with
"small" range
(1,5 - 6 seconds)
Strong interference, damping active with
"large" range
(6 - 65 seconds)
