To prevent movement in the housing/ceiling opening
use a flat head screw driver to pry out 4 centering tabs
on Retrofit Ring Assembly (Figure 30.).
Trim Installation
1.
Remove reflector and LED engine from protective
packaging.
2.
Insert lens onto white reflector (Figure 31.).
3.
Place LED Engine into Lower trim. Align trim slots with
engine screw holes (Figure 32.).
4.
Using provided thumb screws, securely attach lower
trim to LED Engine (Figure 33.).
5.
Connect LED module plug (male) with retrofit
driver assembly socket (female) then latch securely
(Figure 34.).
6.
Install the LED Engine and trim assembly by inserting
the torsion springs into the spring receivers located
inside retrofit ring (Figure 35.).
7 .
Press LED module and reflector assembly into retrofit
ring assembly until flush with ceiling (Figure 36.).
8.
Restore power after installation of fixture is completed.

Housing Compatibility
Minimum installation height required is 8 inch. Ensure
wiring, conduit and socket cup are moved to the side if
possible.
LD8ART fits opening/aperture 8.7 inch minimum to 10
inch maximum (with optional adaptor band)
• Cooper Lighting: C8X, PD8X, C9X.
Clean Trims
1.
Gently wipe with soft, clean,dry lint-free cloth to
remove dust.
2.
Wipe with mild detergent solution on a soft, clean cloth
to remove fingerprints and stains.
3.
Rinse with clean water and dry with soft, clean,dry
lint-free cloth.
Driver Replacement
CAUTION
To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure that the power is
turned off before installing or servicing this fixture.
• The driver should be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• The driver may be replaced either from below or above the
ceiling.
