5. ADDITIONAL UNIT WIRING
The EURO/1MF unit is set up for connection to a Prastel photocell amplifier (current model FT/11SK - Fig. 2) and to several Prastel single- or
double-channel radio receivers (Fig. 3).
Said receivers operate on the European CEPT frequencies according to ETSI 300-220 Standards.
Single-channel photocell amplifier plug-in coupling
(current model FT/11SK)
- Plug-in the photocell amplifier.
- Connection to terminal 41 is not required as it is made internally.
- Link up the photocells as described in the photocell amplifier
instructions.
Note: This card is suitable for application with the following sensors:
Prastel CR/9MS9, CR/9MS, CR/9MSD, CR/9MSP, CR/20MS, CR/FC.
6. SAFETIES
•
Gate opening and closing photocell (input 8 - page 12)
This photocell is designed for maximum safety both during automatic gate opening and closing.
•
Safety during closing (input 7 - page 12)
This device affords extra safety during closing as compared to the use of the "Photocell" alone. (Maximum safety during closing can be
achieved using a pneumatically-operated rib (pressure switch), a sensor-controlled rib (photocell), a wire rib, and so on).
•
Safety during opening (input 6 - page 12)
This device is designed for maximum safety during opening in case of obstacles being encountered so as to prevent risks of damage or
injury due to snipping, dragging, impact, crushing, cutting or hooking, and so on. (Maximum safety during opening can be achieved using
a pneumatically-operated rib (pressure switch), a sensor-controlled rib (photocell), a wire rib, and so on).
PROTECTIONS
•
Motor
The motor and power circuits are protected by a 5 amp quick-blow fuse (5x20).
The TRIAC is protected against overvoltage by means of a MOV.
•
Transformer
The secondary winding of the transformer is protected by a 315 mA quick-blow fuse (5x20).
Protection from overvoltage is achieved by means of a MOV on the primary and secondary windings of the transformer.

Automatic reset

Prastel single or double-channel radio receivers
- Plug-in a radio receiver.
- The first channel is always connected internally and can be used
immediately and set by means of function "4" (see page 5).
- In case of a double-channel receiver being connected, the
connection for the second channel on the terminal strip is given as a
NO contact (terminals 23 & 24, see diagram on page 12).
Note: These receivers can currently be employed, respectively, with
Prastel transmitters of the Multipass and Multipass ROLL series.
