R-080404 / R-080406 is a practical polymeriser with a
control panel on which sequences of polymerising times
and temperatures can be programmed as required by the
user.
INSTALLATION
▪ Carefully unpack the polymeriser, removing the
packing material inside the tank. Inside the tank you
will also find a muffle tray.
▪ Set the unit up on a flat, horizontal, firm surface
away from sources of heat or vibration. Ensure that
there is a gap of at least 15 cm between the
ventilation grilles and the nearest wall or other object.
▪ Connect the unit to a 230 V, 50/60 Hz earthed power
socket protected by a suitable thermal magnetic cut-
out. Consult your installer.
ALARM
The unit allows to activate an acoustic alarm to warn
when the program is finished. To activate or deactivate
the alarm, proceed as follows:
▪ Briefly press the key
some seconds. Pilot
▪ Use the keys the

alarm.
▪ Briefly press the key
▪ Select the type of alarm (1 or 2) by pressing the
keys.
▪
The alarm will go on only once.
▪
The alarm will go on every 2 minutes.
▪ Briefly press key
it for some seconds to finish configuration.
DELAYED START
The unit allows to program a delayed start. In order to
choose a delayed start proceed as follws:
▪ Briefly press the key
some seconds. Pilot
▪ Briefly press the key
▪ Use the keys
to select, on the upper display:
"YES" to program a delayed start.
"NO" to erase delay.
▪ Briefly press key
▪ Use the keys

▪ Use the keys
"YES" for ºF.
"NO" for ºC.
▪ Briefly press key
it for some seconds to finish configuration.
PROGRAMMING
In order to program a heating sequence and then save it
as one of the 4 memories which can be stored, proceed
as follows:
▪ Briefly press key
▪ Simoultaneously keep pressing keys

▪ Use keys
the first set temperatura (C1).
▪ Briefly press key

▪ Briefly press key
▪ Use keys
to keep temperature C1.
▪ Briefly press key

▪ Proceed as previously to program steps 3 and 4.
If, by any reason, you want to omit one of the steps, you
must simply select the value "- - -" for the time. This
means that program will finish in this step.
Depending on altitude above sea level, water
composition and atmospheric pressure, water may boil at
slightly above or below 100 ºC.
The electronic controls will automatically detect when
the water boils, and hold it at that temperature
throughout the step in queston.
Another possibility is to detect the exact boiling point in
your laboratory: set a temperature of 110 ºC. The
temperature of the water in the tank will rise slowly to a
level at which it holds steady. This is the laboratory
boiling point, and this temperature should be
