Filler piece (not with all front sleeves)
Precondition:
•
The tool is disconnected from the compressed
air supply.
•
The necessary wrenches are on hand, see
Chapter 5.7.2.
1. Loosen and remove the installed front sleeve
using the appropriate wrench.
2. Loosen the clamping sleeve using the two
appropriate wrenches and remove together
with the clamping jaws in the clamping sleeve.
3. Remove the pressure spring and guide sleeve.
4. Loosen and remove the spacer using the two
appropriate wrenches.
5. If a filler piece was included in the conversion
kit, insert the filler piece into the plunger rod.
6. Screw on the spacer included in the conversion
kit using the two appropriate wrenches.
7. Insert the pressure spring and guide sleeve
into the spacer from the front.
8. Screw on the clamping sleeve together with
the clamping jaws contained in the clamping
sleeve using the appropriate wrench.
9. Measure whether the necessary setting
distance is achieved, see Chapter 5.7.3.
10. If the necessary setting distance was not
achieved, loosen the clamping sleeve and
spacer again and correct the necessary setting
distance using the lock nut.
11. Check whether all connections are tight.
12. Screw on the front sleeve included in the
conversion kit using the appropriate wrench.
The setting tool is ready for operation.

Disconnect the compressed
air supply during all work steps
for cleaning, maintenance
or during replacement of
components.

Do not point the machine
towards persons.

Secure hoses and lines to
prevent them from uncontrolled
whipping.

Keep cold air away from your
hands.

Do not exceed the maximum
working pressure indicated
in the technical data; use a
pressure reducer, if necessary.
•
Do not use the hoses or lines to
carry the machine.
•
Switch off the compressed air
supply immediately in the event
of damage to hoses or lines.
ATTENTION
Compressed air connection
outside the specifications
Material damage
•
Use only non-oiled compressed
air.
•
Do not use a compressed air
hose that is longer than 3 m.
•
Observe all the specifications
given in the technical data.
The setting tool has a compressed
air connection on the left and right,
see Chapter 2.4.
Precondition:
•
The required accessory and the required
nosepiece is installed on the setting tool.
•
Stud collector / stud securing cap / stud
discharge tube is screwed on.
1. Switch off the compressed air supply.
2. Remove the cover over the compressed air
connection on the required side of the setting
tool.
3. Screw the compressed air hose securely onto
the setting tool.
4. Switch on the compressed air supply.
