Safe Use Instructions – DanLoad 6000

This instructions sheet is to be used with the
DanLoad 6000 Reference Manual (Part No. 3-
9000-670). For full cautions and descriptions of
installation and troubleshooting procedures, refer
to the manual.
The DanLoad 6000 Preset with CE Mark may be
ordered with:
CE-specific 115 volts ac or 230 volts ac power
supplies,
Integral keypad/display or remote
keypad/display with start/stop,
Keypads in English, Spanish, or French,
Either of the CE-specific 4-channel meter input
boards,
Either of the DUART communication boards,
Either of the MPMC (Meter Pulse
MicroController) boards,
Any of the AC I/O boards,
Any of the CE-specific DC I/O boards,
Any of the CE-specific RTD/Analog boards.

When installing units in a hazardous area,
make sure all installation components selected
are labeled for use in such areas. Perform
installation and maintenance only when the
area is known to be non-hazardous.
Installation in a hazardous area could result in
personal injury or property damage.
Shut off all sources of power to the loading
island site before installing the DanLoad 6000.
Installation of powered equipment could result
in personal injury or property damage.
Always turn off the power to the DanLoad 6000
unit before you attempt any type of wiring.
Wiring of powered equipment could result in
personal injury or property damage.
To avoid circuit damage when working inside
the unit, use appropriate electrostatic
discharge precautions, such as wearing a
grounded wrist strap.
The following tools are required for installation,
maintenance, and troubleshooting:
8 mm hex bolt wrench,
Phillips-head screwdriver,
Flat-head screwdriver.
