Calibration of general low pressure switch
For calibration of the low pressure switch, refer to the values found in the table below:
LOW PRESSURE
TN R404a
BT R404a
Calibration of high pressure switches to control the fans
Two variable calibration high pressure switches to control the fans are installed inside the electrical
panel: the said pressure switches must be calibrated at 14 and 15 bar respectively with a differential of
5 bar.
16.Periodic inspections
Check for proper functioning of the unit every week, as follows;
- First check that the control panel is operating regularly and no indicator light is on;
- Check for any unusual noises before entering;
- Put on protective ear coverings and enter using caution;
- If you see any stains, leakage, or anything else that indicates malfunctioning, STOP THE
INSPECTION IMMEDIATELY AND EXIT THE ROOM;
- If there are no malfunctions, continue with the inspection.
- Check that the evaporation and condensation temperatures correspond to the planned values
- Make sure that the oil present in the compressor cases is the correct amount and temperature
- Check by means of the indicator placed downstream of the filter on the liquid line that liquid and not
vapour leaves the system towards the appliances.
17.Emergency situations
In the case of unit malfunction, proceed as follows:
- Problem:Electronic control device off
What to do:The safety pressure switch is tripped and the emergency light on the control panel is on
Call technical assistance for restoration of normal operation
- Problem:Error messages on the control panel
What to do:Call technical assistance and report the error message
In all other cases, immediately contact technical assistance to restore normal operation.
SERIOUS EMERGENCIES
The following are considered serious emergencies:
- Outbreak of fire in the machine room
- Explosion of pipes or pressurized parts
- Visible or noticeable leakage of coolants
- Short-circuit in the machine room
- Damage due to lightning
- Damage due to other natural events
In these cases, proceed as follows:
- Immediately disconnect the power supply using the circuit breaker on the control panel outside the
room.
- In the case of small fires which allow entrance into the room, use an extinguisher.
- In the case of serious fires which make accessing the room impossible, request assistance from the
local Fire Service.
- When the room is secured, call technical assistance to restore the system to normal operation.
N.B.If the company has its own internal specialized group able to intervene in the case of
serious emergencies, they should have the following equipment:
- protection against hot/cold burns;
- respiratory tract protection, such as masks and oxygen respirators.
18.Scheduled maintenance
CAUTION! Before any maintenance or cleaning operation, disconnect electrical and hydraulic
power
For regular machine performance, it is recommended that every six months you:
- Check and remove any exterior dirt, damage, corrosion, or coolant leakage;
