10.Transportation, movement, and lifting (Fig. 3)

The unit is provided with a self-supporting steel frame for transport with a forklift. (Rif. 3).
The length of the fork must be greater than 1100 mm (Rif. 1).
To find out the weight of the standard versions, please refer to the technical data tables at Page 6.
There are yellow labels on the steel frame which indicate the precise points for lifting, for purposes of
load stability (Rif. 2).
If a crane is used, use a hoisting fork with an adequate capacity and strapping that is in accordance
with the yellow lifting indicators, so as to avoid transversal stress to the unit structure as well as
damage to components.
CAUTION! DO NOT USE LIFTING POINTS OTHER THAN THOSE INDICATED.

11.Installation and environmental conditions

HP3 units have been designed for outdoor installation. In the case of indoor installation, please contact
the technical office of Arneg S.p.A. before installation.
For installation, certain conditions regarding environmental conditions must be respected:
Temperature: from - 10°C to + 55°C;
Relative humidity: from - 30% to + 60%;
Degree of protection: IP44 version.
For conditions that vary from those indicated, appropriate packaging will be made available together
with additional information.
For installation, please proceed as follows:
- The unit must be installed out of doors.
- Allow access only to specialised technical personnel.
- Guarantee that there is space sufficient to allow immediate access to the machine.
When positioning the unit, certain risks must be taken into consideration:
- Fire hazard;
- Risk of poisoning;
- Oil leaks;
- Noise.
- Ensure that there is enough room to perform maintenance operations, Hmin = 2.7m.
- Opening the control panel should not obstruct escape routes.
- The sound-proof panels removed for maintenance must be positioned in a manner that does not
block escape routes.
- Make sure that all surfaces are REI 120 fire resistant, or in any case in line with the norms in effect.
- Install flooring resistant to oil stains, with sufficient resilience for the concentrated loads of the unit and
attachment of the standing buffers.
Safety devices
Install the following devices:
- Emergency circuit breaker or cut-off switch, located outside the unit near the access, to cut off
electrical power to the unit;
- Fire extinguisher placed near the emergency circuit breaker for first response intervention. It should
be appropriate for use with powered equipment and have the capacity required for the systems;
- Refrigerant gas leak detection system able to activate an optical or acoustic alarm signal;
- Earmuffs/headphones to protect against noise when in the vicinity of the unit when it is operating;
- Warning sign on the access, indicating the type and total quantity of refrigerant.
Positioning
- Place the unit in its final installation location, in order to avoid movements that stress the structure.
- The surface where it rests must be stable, level, and able to support the weight of the unit.
- Make sure the unit is horizontally level, and if necessary correct any imperfection using the anti-
vibration feet.
CAUTION! While positioning the unit, be careful to not pull on the connecting cables.
N.B.All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
N.B.Refer to the norms in effect for the country in which the unit is being installed.

12.Electrical connection

Electrical connections must be carried out in accordance with the diagrams provided with the unit.
Any changes to the diagrams must be authorized by the manufacturer.
