NOTE
> Project planning may only be carried out by Dialock specialists.
> Door fittings for fire resistant and smoke control doors, e.g. the DT 600 FH
door terminal or the BKS push bar or the BKS bar handle, must be
approved by the door manufacturer. If the terminal is installed without this
approval, the Fire and Smoke Control Certificate for the fire resistant or
smoke control door will be invalidated.
NOTE
> Please refer to the relevant installation instructions for the basic steps
for installing the DT 600 FH door terminal and the BKS push bar or the
BKS bar handle.
> The current installation instructions for BKS fittings are available for
download from the BKS homepage or are included with the push bar or
bar handle.
The installation of the DT 600 FH door terminal with push bar/bar handle is
described using only pictures.
For step-by-step installation instructions (push bar) see picture section
starting on page 65.
For step-by-step installation instructions (bar handle) see picture
section starting on page 72.
After completing installation, perform a manual function test.
Push the push bar/ bar handle on the inside of the door:
Correct result:
• Latchbolt and deadbolt are pulled back (escape function).
• Door can always be opened.
Push the lever handle at the outside of the door:
Correct result:
• The coupling is in the uncoupled position. The lever handle moves without pulling
back the latch bolt.
The door cannot be opened.
• When the lever handle is released, it must be automatically returned to the
horizontal idle position by the return spring.
• The door cannot be opened.
If this is not the case, the individual installation steps must be checked.
NOTE
Malfunction due to outdated Dialock firmware
To ensure that the current Dialock firmware is running on the terminal,
the device has to be flashed (programmed) using the mobile programming
unit (MDU) during start-up. In case of questions concerning the firmware
version or the procedure please contact Häfele.
