CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in the event of...
• Abnormal skin condition in the treatment area: Sun spots, freckles,
birthmarks, warts or pigmented nevi.
• Eczema, psoriasis, cuts, open wounds or infection
• White, grey or light blonde hairs in the area to be treated
• Pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Dark brown skin. Use of the appliance on dark brown skin can
cause side effects such as burns, blistering and skin colour changes
(hyper- or hypo-pigmentation).
• High exposure to the sun or a UV sunbed within the last 28 days.
• Tattoos or permanent make-up in the treatment area.
• History of cheloid formation, known sensitivity to light (or
photosensitivity like porphyria, polymorphic light eruption, solar
urticaria, lupus etc.) or caused by medicinal products, including
taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g.: aspirin,
