Troubleshooting
Problem
The roof light does not
open or close.
The control lamp lights
up once the roof light is
closed.
The flyscreen or
blackout roller blind
cannot be moved.
The lighting does not
work.
The rain sensor does
not respond.
If you are unable to rectify the fault, get in touch with a specialist workshop.

The batteries in the remote
control are running low.
The vehicle's power supply to
the roof light is interrupted.
The fuse is faulty.
The remote control coding is
faulty
The roof light is not locked in
the runner wedges properly.
The lock is out of place
Dirt on the side guides
The batteries in the remote

The vehicle's power supply to
the roof light is interrupted.
The fuse is faulty.
One or both lamps are faulty. Replace the lamps (12 V, 8 W).
The rain sensor is very dirty.
Troubleshooting
Suggested remedy
Replace the batteries.
Check the power supply.
Replace the fuse (see "Replacing
the fuse (fig. l)" on page 32).
Teaching the remote control:
➤ Interrupt the voltage supply of the
roof light.
➤ Switch on the voltage again.
The lamp flashes for
approx. 30 seconds.
➤ During this time, point the remote
control at the red control lamp of
the roof light and press "
"
" at the same time.
The control lamp goes out. The
remote control is coded properly.
Remove any objects (for example
twigs or leaves) which are stuck
between the glass and the frame.
Correct the (fig. n) lock:
➤ Loosen the four screws.
➤ Replace the guide rail (1), so that
the lock runs in it.
➤ Screw the four screws back in.
Clean the side guides.
Replace the batteries (see
"Replacing the batteries" on
page 28).
Check the power supply from the
vehicle to the roof light.
Replace the fuse (see "Replacing
the fuse (fig. l)" on page 32).
Clean the rain sensor (see
page 34).
