Proper use
The TRUMPF Nibbler N200-3 is a pneumatic hand
machine
•
used to part plate-shaped workpieces made of
material such as aluminium, plastic, etc.
•
to cut pipes and machine sectional sheets
(corrugated sheets, checkered sheets)
•
to nibble straight or curved outer edges and
inside cutouts
•
to nibble according to a scribed line or template
•
to nibble using a circular or straight line, slot
(optional)
Nibbling produces undistorted cutting edges.
The hollow punch of the nibbler allows you to rotate
the machine and continue machining in any direction.
Safety instructions
The machine can only be operated safely if
you have read and understood both the
operating and safety instructions (red print)
and follow these instructions carefully.
Check the unit, compressed-air tube and reception
coupling before each use.
Have all damaged parts repaired by an expert.
Hot chips are ejected from the chip ejector at
extremely high speeds. You should therefore
use a chip bag to collect the ejected chips.
Always wear safety glasses, ear
protection, protective gloves and
proper footwear when working with
the machine.

Do not connect the compressed air unless the
machine is turned off.
•
Always disconnect the compressed-air tube from
the machine before beginning any work on the
machine!
•
Always guide the compressed-air tube back
away from the unit.
•
Use only original TRUMPF accessories.

Before initial use
1. Read the chapter on safety.
2. Check whether the installed die is suitable for the
workpiece that is to be machined. Use only the
special sectional sheet die when maching
sectional sheets.
3. Sharpen or replace blunt tools.
4. The flow pressure of the compressed air must be
6 bar at the point of extraction.
