4 Troubleshooting

Whenever a malfunction occurs, first check external factors (e.g. connections, temperature, humidity
or load) to determine whether the problem is caused by the unit itself or by its environment.
Subsequently check the thermal circuit breaker: it may be tripped. If so: reset it and be sure that the
UPS is not overloaded.
The following chart is a simple troubleshooting checklist only.
If the suggested solution does not succeed, or if the information is insufficient to solve the problem,
please contact your dealer.
PROBLEM
Nothing is displayed on the
LCD panel
The UPS is always on battery
mode
The UPS continuously beeps .
Backup time too short
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The UPS is not ON.
Battery voltage is too low
Battery fault
Power corde loose

Battery voltage is too low
Overload
Battery defect
SOLUTION
Press the power switch again to
turn the UPS on.
Charge the battery at least 6
hours.
Replace the battery
Re-plug the power cord.
Please check the fault code for
details.
Charge the battery at least 6
hours.
Remove some unnecessary
loads. Before reconnecting
equipment, please verify that
the load matches the UPS
capability indicated in the
specifications.
Replace the battery.
