Connection to the mains supply
The appliance should only be connected to
an earthed socket installed in accordance
with the regulations.
Make sure that the supply voltage
corresponds with the voltage marked on
the rating label of the appliance.

Important safety instructions

use the appliance
in the vicinity of a
bath, shower or swimming-
pool, over a washbasin
filled with water or any
other receptacle containing
water.
∙ There is always a risk when
the appliance is operated
near water even when it
is switched off. Therefore,
if the appliance is being
used in a bathroom always
remove the plug from the
wall socket after use.
∙ Additional protection is
offered by fitting an earth-
leakage circuit-breaker
with a rated tripping current
not exceeding 30 mA into
your bathroom installation.
