Fastening the work load
Place the work load so that the tilting

torque of force F parallel to the movement
axis and the lever arm a remains low

With hard and stiff work loads
Please note
If the slide 3 becomes bent against a
buckled work load, the service life of
the guide will be reduced.
S Make sure that the mounting surface
for the work load is bent maximum
0.01 mm.
Note the tightening torques when fasten

ing the work load on the slide:

Work loads with their own guide:
Adjust the guides of the work load and of the DGCI so that they are exactly

parallel.
Only in this way can you avoid overloading on the slide (permitted forces
è Technical Specifications).
Make sure that the work load is coupled free of play to the DGCI (< 0.1 mm).
