The following nominal values apply to this
appliance:

The appliance must be connected to an earthed mains
socket.
The appliance must be connected via a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) with a maximum nominal trip rating
of 30 mA.
The power cable must be checked at regular intervals
for signs of damage. The appliance must not be used
with a damaged cable.

even fatal injuries or to damage to property as a result
of fire or explosion.
Safety instructions
• Do not use any charcoal or other combustible fuels
for this barbecue. This barbecue is not designed to
be used with charcoal or other combustible fuels and
can otherwise cause a fire. The fire may render the
barbecue unsafe and damage it.
• The barbecue is intended for outdoor use only.
• Take care to ensure that it is kept away from combus-
tible materials such as paper, partitions, curtains,
cloths, chemicals, etc.
• The appliance must only be connected and operated
in accordance with the details on the model name-
plate.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cable, the
mains socket or the appliance show any sign of
damage. Check these every time before the appli-
ance is used.
• Always connect the heating element to the tempera-
ture control before you connect the power cable to
the mains socket. The «UP» symbol on the heating
element must be legible.
• The appliance must only be connected to an eart-
hed mains socket.
• Do not use the appliance if the socket is damaged.
• Make sure that no other appliances with high power
consumption are connected in the same electric cir-
cuit when the barbecue is in use.
• Always pull out the plug after each use, or if there is a
fault. WARNING: Pull on the plug itself, and not on
the power cable.
