- Connecting the control wiring harness
- Connect the loose white wire to the terminal boards behind the instrument assembly:
- with the vehicles where block plugs are fitted to both sides of the terminal board, connect
the wire to the terminal board T11a/PIN 10.
- with the vehicles where block plugs are fitted to the R.H. side of the terminal boards only (in
GB
the direction of the drive), connect the wire to the terminal board T11b/PIN 6.
- Take the blue/red wire (PIN 2) out of the block plug on the brake pedal T4d and insert it to
block plug (C).
- Connect the blue/red conductor of the cruise control wiring to brake pedal T4d (PIN 2).
- Insert the brown six-terminal block plug (T6y) to the terminal board XS3 in the central car
control unit.
- Connect the black block plug (T10g) to the appropriate terminal board on the cruise control
switch (A).
- Fix the cruise control wiring cable harness with cable ties to the current car.
Re-install all parts removed according to the Workshop Manual.
Control activation
- Control is activated by the diagnostic device V.A.G.
- Connect the diagnostic device V.A.G., start the engine and choose address 01 „Engine
electronics".
- Press button „arrow" and select function 11 „Login procedure".
- Enter code 11 463 and confirm by button „Q".
- Select function 06 „output termination", switch off the ignition.
Test correct function of the control by test run.
