IMPORTANT TIPS AND INFORMATION FOR THE USE OF ERGOBABY™ 360 CARRIER
Read all instructions before assembling and using the soft carrier. The Ergobaby™ 360 Carrier may be used without the Ergobaby™ Infant Insert only for those
babies weighing more than 12 lbs. (5.5 kg) who have demonstrated strong and consistent head control and are comfortable with a spread leg seated position.
Child must face towards you until he or she can hold head upright. Never leave baby unattended in or with the Ergobaby™ 360 Carrier. Never use a soft carrier
when balance or mobility is impaired because of exercise, drowsiness, or medical conditions. Never use a soft carrier while engaging in activities such as
cooking and cleaning which involve a heat source or exposure to chemicals. Never wear a soft carrier while driving or being a passenger in a motor vehicle.
Never unbuckle the waist belt while the baby is in the Carrier. Baby' s chin should NEVER rest on baby' s chest because this partially closes baby' s airway. There
should always be at least two fingers width clearance before baby' s chin. Wearer must be sure that baby' s airway is clear and that baby is breathing normally
at ALL TIMES. Premature infants, infants with respiratory problems, and infants under 4 months are at greatest risk of suffocation. Ensure proper placement of
baby in product including leg placement. The baby' s position should be checked regularly to make sure that the baby is properly seated in the Carrier, centered
with legs extended and head upright and not slumping downward or to the side. Baby' s arms, legs and feet need to be observed regularly while in the Carrier
to ensure that they are not constricted by the Carrier. Check to assure all buckles, snaps, straps and adjustments are secure before each use. Regularly check
straps and buckles while in use to make sure they have proper tension and placement. Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric and damaged fasteners be-
fore each use. Only use the back and hip carry position when baby has demonstrated strong and consistent head and neck control. Do not switch between po-
sitions with your baby in the Carrier. Take the baby out of the Carrier before changing the position of the Carrier. To avoid injury when learning to place the baby
in the Carrier, do so over a bed or other cushioned surface with the assistance of another adult. The Carrier should not be used unless and until the wearer
understands the instructions and safety features, and is confident and comfortable with respect to the use of the Carrier. This Carrier is only intended for use
by healthy adults. As a general rule, an individual in good health should be able to carry 20% of their body weight in a traditional backpack design. The Carrier
should not be used by a person with any health problems that might interfere with the safe use of the product. If the person using the Carrier should develop
shoulder, back, or neck problems, discontinue its use and consult a qualified medical professional. Discontinue use of the Carrier if the baby exhibit signs of
discomfort while being carried for a period of time until the baby can be carried without exhibiting discomfort. For those with longer torso, we suggest wearing
the waist belt up higher, around the belly button level. If you have a short torso, try wearing the waist belt around your hips. Contact Ergobaby customer service
representative for additional assistance if needed. For instructional video and additional tips, please visit www.ergobaby.com (English only).

WARNING: FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD
FALL HAZARD–Infant can fall out of Infant Insert. Take special care when leaning
or walking .
Carrier is not to be used with babies less than 7lbs (3.2 kg). Use Ergobaby™ Infant Insert for infants
between 7 lbs (3.2 kg) and 12 lbs. (5.5 kg) with the Ergobaby™ Carrier, and the infant should only
be carried in the front-carry position. Infants more than 12 lbs (5.5 kg) but younger than 4 months
or without strong and consistent head and neck control must continue using the Ergobaby™ Infant
Insert with the Carrier.
Never leave infant unattended in or with the Ergobaby™ Infant Insert.
DO NOT use the Infant Insert strap as a handle to carry your infant in the Infant Insert.
DO NOT use the Infant Insert Pillow in the front-outward facing position.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants under 4 months can suffocate in this product if face is
pressed tight against your body. Keep infant's face free from obstructions at all times.
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS AND INFORMATION:
Read all instructions for Infant Insert and Carrier before assembling and using the Infant Insert. The Ergobaby™ Infant Insert is
designed to provide head and neck support and to ensure your newborn is seated correctly while in the Ergobaby™ Carrier. All
Ergobaby™ Infant Inserts should only be used with Ergobaby™ Carriers. The Infant Insert is ONLY intended to be used in the
FRONT CARRY POSITION. Practice putting on your Carrier before using the Infant Insert with the Carrier. For general informa-
tion and detailed instructions for the front carry position, please refer to the instructions for your Ergobaby™ Carrier. The Infant
Insert has an option closure snap for smaller infants or infants that prefer to be more tightly swaddled. The top rounded edge
of the back and neck support padding can be folded outward to provide more padding and neck support for smaller infants.
The leg position of the infant in the Infant Insert will change as your infant grows. With a newborn, the infant should be in a
comfortable fetal position with the feet together, the legs spread lightly, and the knees level with the belly-button. As your
infant grows, the feet and legs will gradually open into a spread position and the knees will lower to be level with the hips. Once
baby is more than 12 lbs (5.5 kg) and has strong and consistent head and neck control, one can discontinue use of the Infant
Insert. This is usually around 4 months. Ensure that the infant's airway is clear and that the infant is breathing normally at ALL
TIMES. Infant's chin should NEVER rest on infant's chest because this partially closes infants's airway. There should be at least
two fingers width clearance below infants's chin. Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric and damaged fasteners, or for
any signs of wear and tear before each use. Discontinue use if the Infant Insert or Carrier is damaged in anyway. Ensure proper
placement of infant in product including leg placement. The infant's position should be checked regularly to make sure that the
infant is properly seated in the Infant Insert, centered with legs extended and head upright and not slumping downward or to the
side. Infant's arms, legs and feet need to be observed regularly while in the Carrier to ensure that they are not constricted by the
Carrier. Premature infants, infants with respiratory problems, and infants under 4 months are at greatest risk of suffocation. The
Infant Insert is not to be used in lying position.
