Setting off an Alarm

When a detection occurs, the monitor acts as follows:
- Generates an acoustic alert on the telephone handset (siren mode *).
- Activates the auxiliary device associated to the zone where the alarm has
gone off (if the device has been installed. Please consult your installer).
- Sends an alarm message to the guard unit (if the installation has a guard
unit).
- Sends a message or alert to one or several telephone numbers (landline
or mobile) programmed in the telephone dialler (optional, included as stan-
dard in Avisa Kits).
- Generates an alert to the Alarms Reception Centre (if the service is
available; please consult your installer).
Deactivation of alarm indication on telephone .
To deactivate the acoustic alert enter the following codes with the telephone keypad (depending on the
deactivation to be done):
ACTION
DEACTIVATE ACOUSTIC ALERT
Ends acoustic alert,
The system is not disarmed, and keeps
emitting alarms if any of the detectors
detects anything.
DEACTIVATE ACOUSTIC ALERT AND
DISARM SYSTEM
The system is disarmed, the acoustic alert ends.
The system will need to be armed again before it
can detect and set off alarms.
(*) The alarm tone always sounds at high volume, even though the call tone volume has been set to
the minimum.
NOTE: Signalling time is 4 minutes, with alternative periods of sound and silence (approximately 10
seconds signalling to 20 of silence).
In addition, every 3 seconds, the monitor emits a series of consecutive beeps, indicating the zone
where the alarm has gone off. For example, three consecutive beeps indicate that the alarm zone
activated is zone 3. The beeps are related with the last alarm set off, which means that if several
alarms go off consecutively, the beeping will be related with the last alarm that has gone off.
