Now unscrew and remove the head, insert the required type of electrode
and then refit the head, tightening it appropriately to ensure the best
possible electrical continuity between the parts.
If the electrode cannot be inserted into the collet, extract the collet from its
location and push in the electrode with force; when the electrode has
been inserted, refit the resulting assembly into the handpiece and then
refit the head as described above.
Always sterilize the handpiece and electrodes before use; the handpiece
is specifically designed for sterilization in an autoclave.
Always switch OFF the appliance after use by setting the main
power switch to "0".
4.2 - OPERATOR
The operator starts the appliance by means of a voluntary command via
the button on the handpiece or the control pedal, thereby assuming direct
control of its operation.
4.3 - INTENDED USE
The electrosurgical knife is designed for use in medical, dental and
veterinary surgeries for minor surgery and micro cauterization for brief
and intermittent interventions (20 seconds max.).
The appliance is not designed for any uses other than those specified by
the manufacturer.
4.4 - SAFETY WARNINGS

The appliance must be used exclusively by skilled and properly
qualified personnel who are aware of the potential hazards.

Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of inflammable materials or
gases.

Do not open or disassemble the appliance.

Patients with pacemakers or stimulatory electrodes may be subject to
disturbances or damage to the relative systems caused by the
electrosurgical knife; check the compatibility with such devices with the
appliance (seek cardiology information).

Wear suitable work clothing and observe the safety regulations in
force in the workplace.

Always use the neutral electrode, which must be as close as possible
to the area of surgical intervention, and must be gripped tightly by the
patient. This procedure must be performed before you start setting up
the appliance.
