➤ Pour fresh oil into the filler neck (2).
The maximum amount of oil is 1.1 l.
The oil level must be between the maximum and the minimum notches of the
dipstick (1).
➤ Put the dipstick (1) back into the filler neck (2).

Replacing the fuel filter
A
NOTICE!
Dispose of the drained off fuel in accordance with the local laws for
environmental protection.
There are two fuel filters (fig. 7 2 and 4, page 6) in the generator.
➤ Place a suitable receptacle under the fuel filter (fig. 7 2 and 4, page 6).
➤ Loosen the fastening clips (fig. 7 1 and 3, page 6).
➤ Remove the fuel filter and insert a new one.
➤ Tighten the fastening clips again.

Servicing the air filter

WARNING! Danger of explosions
Do not use diesel oil or solvents with low boiling points for cleaning the
air filter. They could ignite or explode.

CAUTION!
Wear an respirator mask and protection glasses.

NOTICE!
Never leave the engine running without an air filter. Otherwise this
quickly wears out the engine.

NOTE
If the air filter is dirty, the air flow to the motor is reduced. Check the filter
regularly so that the motor can function properly. Check this more fre-
quently if the generator is being used in particularly dusty environments.
