Setting the Cook Time
The Multicooker default time can be adjusted for each program. The time
adjustment range and interval depends on the program selected. To set:
1. Select the program and press the HOUR/MIN button, the minute indicator
starts blinking. Press COOK TIME repeatedly to adjust the minutes. Hold
the button down to scroll through the digits.
2. Press the HOUR/MIN button, the hour indicator starts blinking. Press
COOK TIME repeatedly to adjust the hours. Hold the button down to
scroll through the digits.
3. To set the cook time less than one hour press and hold down COOK
TIME until the hour indicator is no longer displayed. Press COOK TIME
repeatedly to set the minutes.
4. To cancel the settings and reset, press KEEP WARM / CANCEL.
IMPORTANT! When adjusting the time, consider the time adjustment
range and interval of the selected program in the Table of Default
Settings in the back of the Manual.
For your convenience, the time adjustment range in all programs starts
with a minimum setting, enabling you to prolong the time if the dish is
undercooked.
This is a non-volatile memory unit. In case of a power shortage for up to
10 minutes the device stores the current settings (including the TIME
DELAY settings) and resumes its operation without any memory loss.
To switch between Fahrenheit / Celsius
Your Multicooker RMC-M4502A can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and
from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
1. Press and hold the TEMPERATURE button for three seconds in standby
mode. The button indicator lights up. "320" and the °F indicator are
blinking.
2. To switch to Celsius press TEMPERATURE. "160" and the °C indicator
are blinking.
3. To switch back press TEMPERATURE.
4. To save the adjustment do not press any button for three seconds.
TIME DELAY Function
The function enables the program to finish at a certain time. The cook
time can be delayed for a period of 10 minutes to 24 hours with 10 minute
intervals. To set the Timer:
1. Select the program. Adjust the default cook time if necessary.
2. Press the TIME DELAY button to select TIMER.
3. Press HOUR/MIN, the Hour indicator starts blinking.
4. Use the COOK TIME button to adjust the hours in 1 hour intervals.
5. Press HOUR/MIN, the Minute indicator starts blinking. Use the COOK
TIME button to adjust the minutes in 10 minutes intervals.
6. When all settings are entered, press START. The START, KEEP WARM /
CANCEL and TIME DELAY button indicators light up. The time by which
your meal will be ready is displayed.
The TIME DELAY function is not available in the SAUTE and PASTA
programs.
When setting TIME DELAY , remember that in some programs the count-
down starts only when the device reaches its operating temperature.
It is not recommended to delay a program for a long time if dairy and
other perishable products are being used (eggs, milk, meat, cheese etc.).
KEEP WARM Function
The function automatically activates at the end of the cooking cycle and
keeps the dish warm at 160–170°F (70–75°C) for up to 24 hours. The
KEEP WARM/CANCEL button indicator lights up and the KEEP WARM
countdown is displayed. Press KEEP WARM / CANCEL to disable the func-
tion if necessary. Button indicator goes off.
REHEAT Function
Reheats cold dishes. To reheat:
1. Fill the bowl with cooked food and place it inside the appliance. Ensure
that the bowl makes full contact with the heating element.
2. Close the lid and plug in the appliance
3. Press the KEEP WARM / CANCEL button until an audible signal is
heard. The corresponding indicator lights up and reheating process
begins.
