deform the workpiece.
Automatic mode (see FIG. 20 and FIG 21)
suitable for long duration welding.
Press the torch trigger and hold it down, the arc will light
up and after the set time has passed, it will automatically
switch off.
In automatic mode, the spot welding function can also be
enabled by selecting the SPOT sector.
(See FIG.22 and FIG.23). In this way the welding ma-
chine is automatically set up for high-frequency ignition.
To adjust the time, both for spot and pause time welding,
follow the same procedure described in manual mode.
3 levels mode
Times of the currents are controlled manually; currents
are restored. (FIGS. 24,25).
4 levels mode
With this mode, the operator can introduce an in-
termediate current and restore it during welding (FIGS.
26, 27).
18
This symbol means that the welding torch
trigger must remain pressed for more than
0.7 seconds to terminate welding.
In 3 and 4 modes spot and pause time welding are not
operative.
5 O SECTOR. CHOICE OF TYPE OF ARC IGNITION
(FIG.28)
Select and confirm O sector for arc ignition. Select and
confirm type of ignition.
N.B. the box for the process in use is highlighted in yellow
By adopting this method, it is possible to select, modify
and confirm all the types of ignition presented below.
(see FIG. 29) High frequency (HF) ignition, the
arc ignites by high frequency/voltage discharge.
(see FIG. 30) Contact ignition, touch the work-
piece with the electrode tip, press the welding
torch trigger and raise the electrode tip.
(see FIG. 31) EVO LIFT Touch the workpiece
with the electrode tip, press the welding torch
trigger and raise the electrode tip; as soon as the
electrode is raised, a high frequency/voltage discharge is
generated which lights the arc. Particularly suitable for
precision spot welding.
6 N SECTOR. PULSE (FIG.32,33,34,35)
Select and confirm N sector relative to pulse to access to
PULSE mode.
Set the chosen parameter between Duty Cycle, Pulse
level of the pulsed and Pulse frequency. Confirm by
pressing the knob and adjust to the chosen value. Press
again to save and confirm the selection (see table below).
