Press 'E' while carrying out the measurement
to erase the MIN/MAX memory. On completion
of the measurement, press '<' for calling up the
minimum value and '>' for calling up the maxi-
mum value.

6.5 Temperature measurement
with sensor Pt100 / NiCr-Ni
Connect the sensor to the appropriate test
socket (16 or 17). When using a thermocouple
temperature sensor (SE10), the measuring de-
vice must be operated by battery! An offset
may be input to compensate sensor differences
(zero point offset). Sensing differences can
occur with the Pt100 sensor due to different
contact resistances (example: a contact resist-
ance of approx. 0.5 Ohm results in a zero point
offset of approx. 1.6 Kelvin).
Example: At a known room temperature of 22 ˚C,
the measuring device records 23.6 ˚C with your
Pt100 sensor when uncompensated. An input
of -1.6 is entered to correct your reading.
