Remedy of faults
Malfunction
Pump does not start.
Pump does not deliver.
Insufficient delivered quantity
Pump switches off after a short running period.
Maintenance and cleaning
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into
the water.
Isolate the unit before starting any work.
Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Unit maintenance
The unit requires regular maintenance. Carry out the work according to the maintenance schedule.
Only allow the maintenance work to be carried out by trained personnel who are qualified for these activities due to
their technical training, knowledge and experience.
Cleaning the unit
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they could attack the housing or impair the function
of the unit.
Recommended cleaning agent for removing stubborn limescale deposits:
– Pump cleaning agent PumpClean from OASE.
– Vinegar- and chlorine-free household cleaning agent.
After cleaning, thoroughly rinse all parts in clean water.
How to proceed:
H
1. Remove the screws for fastening the filter basket and remove the filter basket.
2. Clean all parts.
– Use a soft brush.
– Rinse parts in clean water.
3. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.
Cause
No supply voltage
Pump does not receive any control signals
Internal electronic fault
Filter housing clogged
Excessively soiled water
The impeller unit is blocked
Filter housing clogged
Excessive loss in the supply lines
Excessively soiled water
For use under water: Water temperature too
high
For dry set-up: Ambient temperature too high
The impeller unit is blocked
Pump has run dry.
Remedy
Check the supply voltage
Check supply lines.
Check control unit/control cable
Please read the information regarding unit and
show programming
Clean
Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
Switch off pump and remove obstacle. Then
switch the pump on again.
Clean
Select larger hose diameter
Reduce hose length to reduce frictional loss
Avoid unnecessary connection elements
Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
Note maximum water temperature of +35°C.
The pump automatically switches on again
once the motor has cooled down.
Adhere to the maximum ambient temperature
of +40°C The pump automatically switches on
again once the motor has cooled down.
Switch off pump and remove obstacle. Then
switch the pump on again.
Flood the pump. Fully submerge the pump for
operation in a pond.
