12.1 Simple reset
A simple reset is required in the following cases:
• If the programming key card and clearing key card (master keys) have been lost.
After a simple reset, the allocated master keys are cleared and reallocation is required
(white LED continuously flashing). Continued use of the terminal and the MDU 110 mobile data
transfer unit is not possible until a restart has taken place with new master keys
(
7. Commissioning, page 40). The locking authorisations for the user keys are retained after
a simple reset.
Prerequisites:
1. Insert the key, turn it as far as it will go in the
opening direction and hold it there in position.
Red LED illuminates after 2 seconds.
White LED flashes.
3. Remove the user key and release the key.
The simple reset is complete.
The door terminal switches to
commissioning mode

* Note on DT 710c:
As the key is located in the centre of the antenna for the DT 710c, optimal positioning
of the user key is not possible and the reading range is reduced considerably. The
user key (Mifare card) may not be recognised and a reset is not possible. A Mifare tag
or ISO transponder can be used to resolve the problem.
