18.2 Product overview
Do not manually turn the wiper arm because wiper motor damage can occur.
The wiper can become temporarily attached to the sensor surface if it becomes dry. Do not operate the wiper dry
because wiper motor damage can occur.
The turbidity sensor with central cleaning brush (9195600) is shown in
sensor has a wiper that cleans the optical surface of the sensor when power is applied to the sensor
and at the start of the logging warm-up time. The central cleaning brush cleans the surrounding
sensors when the wiper cleans the optical surface of the sensor.
Note: The turbidity sensor with central cleaning brush is only available for the HL7 sonde.
Refer to Sensor Settings in the online help to manually clean the turbidity sensor and surrounding
sensors and to set the number of wiper revolutions in a cleaning cycle.
