ELECTRIC KNIFE KH 550

Intended use

The electric knife is suitable for cutting various types of foodstuff. It is
intended for domestic use only, not for commercial applications.

Safety notes

To avoid potentially fatal electric shocks:
• The rating of the local power supply must tally completely with the
details given on the rating plate of the appliance.
• NEVER submerse the motor block in water. Wipe it off with a
damp cloth only.
• Arrange for damaged power cables and/or plugs to be exchan-
ged as soon as possible by a qualified specialist or the Customer
Service .
• Arrange for appliances that do not operate correctly, or have
been damaged, to be inspected and/or repaired by Customer
Service as soon as possible.
• NEVER subject the appliance to rain and do not use it in wet or
moist environments. Take steps to ensure that the power cable
never becomes wet or moist during use.
To avoid fire risks and burn injuries:
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including child-
ren) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental cabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• Ensure that the power plug can be quickly removed from the
socket in the event of danger and that people cannot stumble
over the power cable.
• Risk of Injury! The blades are very sharp. Handle them with
great care.
• The use of accessories which are not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer can cause electric shock or personal
injury.
