Unpack the aquarium carefully. The interior filter, light and installation accessories are in the packaging in the aquarium. The
cover plate is in the cardboard box on the bottom of the aquarium. Check the content of the packaging for completeness.

Positioning: No radiation by the sun, not too much daylight. Keep away from heating elements. Place near a
socket on a level and sturdy surface.
Tip: Before setting up, fill the tank as a test to check for any leakage.
Important: Bear in mind the weight of the aquarium when set up and filled with water!

Tip: As a cabinet stand, we recommend EHEIM aquastyle furniture. It provides a secure stand and storage space for ac-
cessories. A column that fits your tank size is available from your aquarium dealer.

How to clean the tank: Take all the accessories out of the aquarium. Before setting up the aquarium, clean the aquar-
ium thoroughly using only warm water and a soft, clean sponge.
Important: Do not use any cleaning agents whatsoever!

Stick the four rubber feet onto the corners of the bottom plate from below. Place the aquarium on a smooth, level and
sturdy surface (mind the weight).

Put the cover clips on the cover plate, and lay it on the aquarium. This prevents the animals from escaping or jumping
out while at the same time ensuring circulation of fresh air.

Setting up the tank: Take the cover plate back off, and set up the tank (see the EHEIM brochure „GUIDEBOOK TO NANO
AQUARIUM" (available at specialist retail outlets) or at www.eheim.de:
