Description
4.1
Function
E-PAK 500 has been designed to filter non-combustible dust and welding fumes in a high
vacuum system.
E-PAK 500 is a complete vacuum unit with a direct-driven side channel fan fitted as one unit
on a steel frame and a start and control unit with an integrated 24 V transformer. E-PAK 500 is
Y/D started. The unit has automatic start/stop and automatic filter cleaning in two stages.
Filtration in two stages
In the first stage, the inlet separates course particles. In the second stage, fine particles are
separated on filter bags.
Automatic filter cleaning
E-PAK 500 uses filter cleaning by a short blast of reversed air flow with atmospheric pressure.
By the rapid opening of the filter cleaning valve located on top of the filter, a powerful blast of
reversed air flow is created, efficiently dislodging dust from the filter bags.
Figure 3shows the function of E-PAK 500 according to the following:
Air flow during normal operation and collection of dust.
